July 2, 2021

Join us Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 12 pm for our webinar Equine Endocrine Disease – PPID and EMS Updates with Dr. Jamie Pribyl and sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim. This session will discuss current recommendations for the diagnosis and management of PPID and EMS. The relationships among endocrine disorders and the importance of monitoring for multiple conditions will be highlighted. In addition, recent research and its application to clinical practice will be reviewed.

Dr. Jamie Pribyl received her undergraduate degree from Lake Superior State University and then attended the University of Minnesota where she obtained her DVM. After completing an equine internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Washington, Dr. Pribyl joined Buffalo Equine in Buffalo, Minnesota. She practiced at Buffalo Equine for 13 years and was a managing partner for 12 years. In January of 2020, she joined Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health as a Professional Services Veterinarian. Dr. Pribyl’s professional interests include asthma, geriatric medicine, reproduction, and gastrointestinal disease. She is a member of the AAEP’s Wellness Committee and is passionate about professional wellness and leadership.

All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE.

Note: Through the end of 2021, the Veterinary Board of Governors removed the limitation on the number of pre-recorded webinars that qualify for your total CE hours.
