WSVMA DVM: Masterclass Webinar – Advancements in Veterinary Ophthalmology through the Years

May 7, 2021

Join us Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 12pm for our webinar Advancements in Veterinary Ophthalmology through the Years with Thomas Sullivan, DVM, DACVO. This lecture will cover changes in ophthalmology over the last 25 years and what trends are currently taking place. The discussion will focus on cases in the Pacific Northwest and touch on controversial topics within the specialty.

Dr. Thomas Sullivan is a graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he performed a rotating small animal medicine internship at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine’s teaching hospital, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the Animal Eye Clinic in 1995. His special interests include surgical correction of retinal detachment, treatment of uveitis, and ophthalmology of zoo animals and wildlife.

All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE.

Note: Through the end of 2021, the Veterinary Board of Governors removed the limitation on the number of pre-recorded webinars that qualify for your total CE hours.

Whether you can join us live or later, don’t miss this important webinar. Register online at the WSVMA website. See the full Masterclass calendar here.  And don’t forget to check out our catalog of on-demand and covid-19 webinars. We’re bringing timely topics in a convenient format meant to benefit you and your practice.
