| DDr. Rogers is a Diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and has served as the AVMA Executive Board representing District XI which includes the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Harmon has been very active in his veterinary career both on the local, state, and national levels from the moment he received his veterinary degree. He served on various committees with the WSVMA and as well as the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and the American Animal Hospital Association. In addition, he was president of the Association for Veterinary Informatics and was an adjunct professor at the college of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. His talents were then used as a full-time professor in the veterinary teaching hospital at WSU. He has been recognized by his peers as an outstanding practitioner by the AAHA and has received the WSVMA Distinguished Achievement Award. Dr. Rogers brought to the WSVMA his many leadership skills during his term as president. He also brought his vision that service to one’s profession is a worthwhile and meaningful opportunity. |
