Veterinary technicians are crucial to the day-to-day operations of veterinary practices, and play vital roles in the care of animal health and welfare. This week of October 16-22, 2022 has been set aside for National Veterinary Technician Week to celebrate, recognize, and promote the valuable contributions licensed veterinary technicians make to the veterinary profession and society.
But let’s not stop there. Let’s appreciate, support, and allow them to fully do the work they were trained to do, not just this week, but all year long.
