Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Care now open in Bellevue, WA [Sponsored Post]

June 9, 2023

Bellevue Veterinary Emergency + Specialty (BVES) opened June 5 and is providing 24/7 emergency and specialty care to pet owners and their pets in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and surrounding communities. The 16,000 sq. ft. hospital is located at 2515 140th Ave NE and will offer 24-hour emergency care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, in-house lab and diagnostics, and much more.

BVES was established with one goal in mind: to be there for pets and their people. They know emergency visits aren’t planned, and navigating specialty care can be overwhelming. Their dedicated team and people-centric policies create an environment where pets receive world class care and pet parents receive clarity and compassion at every step in the process. They aim to be the gold standard of emergency and specialty care in the Pacific Northwest.

The team is able to support pet patients that have emergency and specialty veterinary care needs and/or require 24-hour supervision for fluid and oxygen support, pain management, seizure watch, urgent surgery, and more. In addition, BVES will partner with community veterinary hospitals to provide overnight care or emergency services to their pet patients after they have closed.

Services will include:

  • Staffed 24 hours, Seven days a week, 365 days a year
  • Critical Care
  • Emergency
  • Advanced Imaging Services (Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, CT Imaging)
  • Advanced On-premises Diagnostic Laboratory
  • Clinical Pathology
  • Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery
  • Integrated Rehabilitation and Veterinary Acupuncture
  • Oncology, Internal Medicine and other services coming soon

Dr. Christopher Lewis is leading the team as the Medical Director and has been a veterinarian for almost 18 years. He understands the importance of cultivating partnerships and truly cares about delivering compassionate veterinary medicine to the community, pet owners, and their pets. The hospital vision is modeled after the community it will serve – progressive, inclusive, and state-of-the-art.

The BVES team is not only dedicated to building relationships with their referral partners but also passionate about education. They believe mentorship, training, and continued education is key to any successful practice and want to provide these opportunities to their fellow colleagues across the industry.

This past spring, they hosted a 4-part RACE-approved CE Dinner series with several specialists discussing a range of topics. They are hosting their final CE on June 22 from 5:30 – 8 p.m, which will be hosted at their new facility. Attendees will be able to tour the brand-new hospital and meet the team. Dr. Anastacia Davis will be providing a lecture on Wound Care Strategies and Techniques. To learn more and RSVP visit –  https://bellevueveterspecialty.com/grand-open-rdvm/.
