Coffee Club – Real Talk with Other Veterinary Professionals – This Coming Monday – August 25, 2025 at 6.30pm – Meet Dr. Gary Marshall
Coffee Club is a free, monthly Zoom meet-up for veterinary professionals who just need a space to be heard. No lectures, no pressure—just community, connection, and support.
Coffee Club is a new initiative arising from WSVMA’s DEIW Committee. The Committee believes that when progress feels uncertain, connection matters more than ever. Recent changes in policy and public discourse have cast doubt on hard-won progress, leaving many feeling disheartened, frustrated, and isolated. The WSVMA cares deeply about building a more inclusive profession, but finding a safe space to talk about these challenges isn’t always easy. You’re not alone—and you shouldn’t have to carry it alone.
Coffee Club Offers a space to speak freely and feel supported. Coffee Club is a monthly online meet-up created by the WSVMA DEIW Committee to offer veterinary professionals a space to connect, share, and simply be heard. There’s no agenda, no lectures, and no pressure—just real conversation in a judgment-free zone.
Whether you’re navigating challenges in the profession, feeling isolated in your DEI work, or just craving authentic connection, Coffee Club is a place where you can show up as you are and find support from others who understand.
Led by the DEIW Committee volunteers, the Coffee Club will be meeting a further four times over the next few months at 6.30pm on the following dates:

- Monday, September 29, 2025 – Post-PNWVC Decompress
- Monday, October 27, 2025 – Open Session
- Monday, November 24, 2025 – Holiday Planning & Check-In
