Join us Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022 at 12pm for our webinar Treating the Performance Horse with Dr. Trent Bliss. This lecture serves as an overview of available treatments for osteoarthritis in the horse. It covers parenteral products as well as intra-articular products. It is merely meant to serve as a means of introducing available treatments and briefly introduce the topic of evidence-based medicine, FDA approval and provide an outline of current and emerging therapies.
Dr. Bliss is a 2006 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he completed a one-year internship at Idaho Equine Hospital. He then worked in private practice in northern Texas for one year prior to starting a large animal surgical residency. Trent completed his three-year residency at Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Upon completion in 2011, Trent joined Interstate Equine, LLC in Oklahoma, where he worked until joining Boehringer-Ingelheim Animal Health in January 2020.
