Dr. Cassandra Brown attended the University of Wisconsin. Following veterinary school, she pursued a private practice internship and an emergency medicine year in Albuquerque and completed a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She trained in all aspects of internal medicine and found interests in endocrinology and immune-mediated diseases. Dr. Brown moved to Portland, Oregon in 2004, and practiced at a large multi-specialty and emergency hospital until moving to the Kitsap Peninsula in 2021.
