- The attendee will learn how to utilize therapeutic diet trials, including adjusting dietary fat and protein content, the use of hydrolyzed and limited ingredient diets, in cats and dogs with chronic enteropathy.
- The attendee will learn how to utilize prebiotic and probiotic supplements in cats and dogs with chronic enteropathy.
- The attendee will learn how to utilize antibiotic therapy in cats and dogs with chronic enteropathy.
Dr. Gary P. Oswald is a graduate of The Ohio State University (BS 1983, DVM 1987) and Colorado State University (MS 1991). He is a veterinary small animal Internal Medicine specialist and a diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Oswald was a founding member of Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Care Center in Clearwater, Florida and was a practicing medical internist and Chief of Staff from 1993-2020. He is currently the CEO of Tampa Bay Veterinary Medical Consultants. Dr. Oswald is a frequent speaker at veterinary continuing education meetings throughout the United States and abroad.
