Join us Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022 at 12pm for our webinar – Cancer Staging for the General Practitioner with Dr. Rance Sellon. General practitioners can help their clients, their oncologists, and their hospitals by contributing to the staging of tumor-bearing patients. This session will provide an overview of helpful staging interventions within reach of general practitioners and address a few common staging questions.
Dr. Sellon received his DVM from Texas A&M University in 1987. Following graduation, he went to Athens, Georgia for a year to do a rotating internship at the University of Georgia. After the internship, Dr. Sellon went to North Carolina State University from 1988-1991 to do a residency in small animal internal medicine. He achieved board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 1991. Dr. Sellon joined WSU in 1997 and completed an oncology residency there, obtaining board certification in the specialty of oncology in 2009. Dr. Sellon currently supports both small animal medicine and oncology services.
All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE.
Note: Gov. Inslee’s COVID-19 emergency order and the temporary allowance for unlimited non-interactive CE ended Oct. 31. However, VBOG will allow veterinarians and veterinary technicians until Jan. 31 to make the shift back to predominantly live, interactive CE. As a reminder, only ten out of thirty CE hours may be “preprogrammed” or non-interactive.
Whether you can join us live or later, don’t miss this important webinar. Register online at the WSVMA website. See the full Masterclass calendar here. We’re bringing timely topics in a convenient format meant to benefit you and your practice.
