How well do the communication processes and tools in your workplace respect the needs of the diverse people you work with—clients, team members, or others you come in contact with?
The latest educational module from Journey for Teams helps you look at your communications from the perspective of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)—and identify practical ways to make meaningful improvement. Called Client Communications Through a DEI Lens, it looks at client interactions in clinical practice to present concepts that can be applied in all types of workplaces.
This learning module considers the experience of veterinary clients by looking at communications at four critical points in a client visit: appointment scheduling, intake, clinical exam, and discharge. Using both a short video and supporting materials, it also offers practical suggestions for ways to make accommodations that improve the client experience, and even patient care.
