Communicating the Cost of Care with Your Client – Special WSVMA webinar offered in December

November 19, 2021

Join us Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at 12 pm for our webinar Communicating the Cost of Care with Your Client with Dr. Wendy Hauser and sponsored by ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. Veterinary teams’ abilities to help pets stay healthy depend on their skills in effectively partnering with clients. During this webinar, we will examine how veterinary teams can understand and use the techniques discussed to help recognize and manage client financial expectations. This discussion will include how clients want to receive this information and barriers to our delivery of cost conversations with clients.

Learning objectives:

  • Participants will learn the basic skills to help them communicate more effectively with clients about the cost of veterinary care.
  • Attendees will learn why it is important to talk about the cost of pet health care, including what clients want to know.
  • Learn what barriers prevent veterinary teams from talking about the cost of care with clients.
  • Methods to communicate effectively with clients about cost solutions, including pet health insurance, will be discussed.
