The ideal candidate has strong technical, surgical, and anesthesia skills, excellent communication, and a passion for helping pets and their owners. Responsibilities include assisting in exams, surgeries, and dental procedures, placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia, and providing client education.

Animal Clinic of Walla Walla seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Our clinic is a busy, three-doctor mixed practice in beautiful Walla Walla, WA. The area is home to a stable and growing local economy with year round opportunities for outdoor recreation and culture. We are seeking an energetic, motivated licensed veterinary technician to join our team of one veterinary technician, seven veterinary assistants cross trained in reception and one practice manager. This is full-time position with a four-day work week consisting of 10 hour days. Wages are hourly with paid holidays and vacation, covered license fees, CE budget, participation in simple retirement plan after two years of employment and fully covered health insurance. Animal Clinic of Walla Walla is a progressive mixed animal practice with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house Idexx bloodwork and diagnostics, and endoscopy.

The Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine has openings for skilled veterinary technicians throughout its Veterinary Teaching Hospital in multiple services and at all skill levels. The hospital serves nearly 20,000 patients a year in 18 specialties. Technicians work with board certified diplomates, interns, and residents throughout the hospital and assist with teaching 4th year professional degree students in a fast-paced environment.  Technicians are considered a vital part of the medical team and positions include great benefits package, paid holidays, relocation assistance and support for professional development. Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) designation a plus but is not required. Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
