Exhibitors are very important guests at the Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference! Enhance your conference weekend – visit their booths to learn about new tools and trends that can help you and your practice succeed. Awards Gala at LeMay – America’s Car Museum (ticket required)

Plan to attend this fun evening filled with veterinary stars and amazing cars!

LeMay – America’s Car Museum Collection consists of automotive artifacts and 350 automobiles spanning over 100 years of automotive history. Collections include Alternative Propulsion, British Invasion, Seductive Supercars, Legends of Nascar, Route 66, Lucky’s Garage, Classics & Customs Coachwork, Master Collectors and more.

Have your photo taken in a 1923 Buick touring car and take home a complimentary souvenir photograph. Test your driving skills on CXC racing simulators or take a spin around the slot car track.

Awards will be presented by WSVMA President Dr. Paul DeMaris for Veterinarian of the Year, Distinguished Veterinary Staff, WSU Faculty, Recent Grad and Allied Industry Partner.

Tickets are $40, and include full access to the museum, a steak or salmon dinner prepared by top chefs, and a drink ticket to use for wine, beer, well drinks, or soft drink of your choice.

The museum is located next to the Tacoma Dome, accessible from the Tacoma Convention Center by the Tacoma Link Light Rail and a short walk. The light rail runs every nine minutes and picks up next door to the Convention Center. A 1.5 mile drive from the Convention Center, parking at the museum is also available for $5.

Morning Yoga

Greater Tacoma Convention Center

Set your foundation for the day at 7am through Kundalini Yoga, Pranayam (breath play) and meditation. Step into a practice that creates physical health, calms the mind and nourishes the soul. All are welcome; no prior yoga experience needed. Please bring your own mat or towel.

Fun Run 2018

Chinese Reconciliation Park

Start your Saturday at 7am at the 17th annual 5K Fun Run/Walk and 10 Mile Bike with colleagues, family, friends and leashed dogs along the Ruston Way scenic waterfront with panoramic views of Commencement Bay. The course starts at the Chinese Reconciliation Park, a ten minute drive from the Convention Center. Ample free parking is available nearby. $10 donation benefits the WSVMA Past Presidents’ Scholarship Fund.

The 12pm business meeting is open to all attendees. WSVMA members are highly encouraged to attend to vote for Board of Directors candidates and to hear vital information about the Association and the profession. If a voting member is unable to attend the annual business meeting, a proxy delegate can be designated to vote on your behalf.
