NAVTA calls for standardized name and credentialing

Washington State University (WSU) has announced that Kirk Schulz, president and professor of chemical engineering at Kansas State University, was unanimously selected as WSU’s 11th president. He succeeds President Elson Floyd who passed away last year. Schulz, K-State’s 13th president, is known for the positive changes he made to the land-grant university. During his tenure, he moved the University from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching’s “very high research activity” classification in 2010 to the “highest research activity”...
