Welcome everyone to the 2020 Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference! This year looks a little different with the entire conference going virtual. Thankfully, we still have all the things you know and love. To make the transition easier, we’ve included some helpful guides and articles from both Socio and Zoom to make your experience the absolute best it can be. We highly suggest downloading the mobile app and using the web browser app to be able to utilize all the tools provided by the Socio platform.

To download the conference app on your mobile device:

Important: please use the same email address that you used to register.

  • Create your profile.
  • Under Looking for an event? tap Search for events.
  • Search for PNWVC 2020.
  • Tap JOIN.

To access the event on your web browser:

  • Access the official PNWVC 2020 Web App by visiting this website, and selecting Access the Web App
  • Keep in mind, we highly recommend using Chrome for the best performance. The Web App can be accessed via any device with a browser!
  • Sign up and create your profile.

You will also need to download zoom to access the live sessions. You can download Zoom at these links (please select the one that corresponds with your device):

  • You can download the Zoom Desktop Client for MacWindowsChromeOS and Linux, as well as the Zoom Mobile App for iOS and Android from our Downloads page.

Now that you have access to our conference platform and zoom, here’s all the things you can do to enhance your experience!

Build out an awesome profile – let other attendees know more about you so you can easily connect with colleagues. Also, here’s an article on how to update your profile picture.

Master my agenda – ready to dive into the schedule? Here you can find how to add sessions to your agenda and add notifications on your mobile app (only available on mobile). You can also read this article on how to export a session to your phone calendar. 

Joining and participating in a live stream – we are offering our live streams on Zoom for sessions which will be accessible from the agenda. Make sure you have Zoom downloaded to attend and check out these helpful Zoom refreshers. Please note that picture in picture mode is not available for these sessions and Zoom will open in an external browser from the platform.

Networking with Sponsors, Speakers, and Exhibitors – read up on how you can engage with our awesome sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers.

Take notes and star your favorite connections, speakers, and more! – it’s the worst feeling when you just cannot remember what you spoke about with a connection two weeks after a conference. Learn more on how to avoid that by starring and taking notes, right in the app.

Rise to the top of the leaderboard – learn how to play Vetscalibur! our interactive competition to win prizes during the conference weekend.

Create, like, and comment on posts – share your thoughts with other attendees in our Chat Café, Give Thanks and Job Board walls!
