Join us Tuesday, August 18 at 12 pm for our webinar Coelomic Distention in Birds: Diagnosis and Management. Dr. Anneliese Strunk will be our guest speaker. This case-based lecture will discuss the pathophysiology of the different main causes of coelomic distention in avian species, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic options.

Dr. Anneliese Strunk graduated from Texas A&M in 2000, and completed an internship in Exotic Animal, Wildlife and Zoo Medicine at the University of Georgia and a residency in the Companion Avian and Exotic Pet Medicine Service at the University of California at Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She achieved board certification via ABVP (Avian Practice) in 2010. She works at the Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine in Bothell. Dr. Strunk has a special interest in surgery, endoscopic techniques, small mammal dentistry, Fear Free, and teaching.

All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE. Note: Through the end of 2020, the Veterinary Board of Governors removed the limitation on the number of pre-recorded webinars that qualify for your total CE hours.

Whether you can join us live or later, don’t miss this important webinar. Register online at the WSVMA website. See the full Masterclass calendar here. And don’t forget to check out our catalog of On-Demand and COVID-19 webinars. We’re bringing timely topics in a convenient format meant to benefit you and your practice.
