WSVMA DVM: Masterclass Webinar – Beyond Burnout: Invigorating Your Love of Veterinary Practice in 3 Simple Steps

  |   Continuing Education

Join us Tuesday, October 15 at 12pm for our webinar on moving beyond burnout in veterinary practice to improve patient care, client care, and overall hospital flow. Chris Bundy, MD will be our guest speaker. Burnout and compassion fatigue are well known occupational hazards for veterinary professionals. While the key drivers of burnout and professional dissatisfaction stem from organizational and systems issues that often feel outside our control, personal resilience factors also play an important role, are within our control and addressing them can produce benefits relatively quickly. Ironically, uncertainty and skepticism about the effectiveness of personal transformation efforts are barriers to change among busy health professionals. In this session, Dr. Bundy, Executive Medical Director of the Washington Physicians Health Program, will bring his extensive experience working with health professionals to outline a simple (but not necessarily easy!) framework that has helped many to achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their personal and professional lives while overcoming the barriers that so often trip us up.

All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE.
