WSVMA DVM: Masterclass Webinar – Transforming Veterinary Health Care with Lean Concepts

  |   Continuing Education

Join us Tuesday, August 20 at 12pm for our webinar on lean concepts in veterinary practice to improve patient care, client care, and overall hospital flow. Art Arnaiz, LVT will be our guest speaker. For the past 15 years, human healthcare has undergone a transformation. Following concepts and methods perfected by Japanese manufacturing companies, human health care facilities are instituting Lean principles into all aspects of the healthcare system. Most major healthcare facilities have invested in process improvement departments to root-out waste and improve efficiency. These institutions have realized saving a dollar yields a much larger return than creating a new dollar in revenue. During this session, you will learn the basic principles of “Lean” and how they relate to veterinary health care. You will also learn a few basic concepts that you can take back to your practice to improve efficiency, eliminate waste and mistake-proof medical procedures providing better medical outcomes and client satisfaction.

All monthly webinars are free for members. They’re recorded and made available on-demand, accessible through the WSVMA website under CE Events/DVM Masterclass. Recorded webinars provide a link to take an exam at the end so that credit can be received for non-live CE.
