Online registration is open for this year’s Pacific NW Conference taking place September 29 – October 1, 2017 in Tacoma. Register today to learn from stellar scientific speakers, business experts and special guests that will be presenting a variety of cutting edge topics.

In addition to a full program of scientific small animal, large animal and equine tracks, sessions will be offered on a variety of topics including the truth about service animals, the technician shortage, and drug policies in a legal marijuana state. Our special guest is Dr. Andy Roark who will present practice management topics and provide awards entertainment Friday evening.

Featured speakers include world-reknown equine behaviorist, Dr. Gemma Pearson, feline medicine expert Dr. Margie Scherk and small animal behaviorist, Dr. Christopher Pachel. Drs. David Twedt, Valerie Fadok, and Laurie McCauley also speak in the small animal medicine track. Drs. Vic Cortese, Robert James, Elizabeth Adams, Maria Von Keyserlink, Dale Moore will be featured in the large animal sessions. The equine track features Drs. Kelly Farnsworth, Jon Geiche, Amber Itle, Ben Smith and Chantal Rothschild. The Power of Ten Leadership Class of 2016-17 have planned the “It’s a Vet’s Life” track for new grads that will feature work-life balance, improving wellbeing, and student debt financial strategies.
